Here is a little information about us!
Lori Diffendaffer
Lori is the daughter of Captain and Mrs. James J. Harnes, Jr. (USN Retired).
Lori grew up a proud military "brat" having lived in many places including Greece, Italy, Germany, and even the United States (Virginia)! She received her Bachelor of Music degree in oboe performance in 1995 from The Peabody Conservatory of Music, of the Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore, Maryland, where she studied with the late Sara Watkins, and her Master's degree in Performing Arts Management in 1997 from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. After working with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, she moved to San Francisco and was the Production and Tour Manager of Chanticleer, where she met Joel. She was the General Manager of The New York Philomusica Chamber Ensemble, located in New York City, prior to teaching English in Tokyo, Japan. Lori is currently working for Grant Thornton, an accounting firm, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Joel Diffendaffer
Joel is the son of Ron and Carol Diffendaffer.
Originally, from Scottsbluff, Nebraska, he received his Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance in 1996 from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Conservatory of Music, where he studied voice with Dr. Cameron Littlefield and choral studies with Dr. Eph Ehly. He sang with the Orlando XIII and did studio session/voice over work Orlando, Florida before joining GRAMMY® award winning Chanticleer, America's premier vocal ensemble. After touring extensively both nationally and internationally with the ensemble, he moved to New York City. Mr. Diffendaffer worked for Digital Impact, the leading direct eMarketing provider for enterprises, before joining the Dockside Porters at Tokyo Disney Sea in 2003. He recently graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City Conservatory of Music with a Masters of Music degree in choral conducting, studying with Dr. Scott E. Anderson. Joel has been named as the new choral director at Kansas City's Barstow School, and looks forward to taking the music program to new heights.
